Who you choose matters. Meet Johnny.
Johnny Guidry is a speaker, podcaster, and spiritual and career coach focused on helping others awaken to their most authentic and intuitive life. His career progression includes 16 years of learning design and management, human resources, project management, and operations.
Johnny’s current path of spiritual growth has been a decade-long process facilitated by his experiences with alcoholism, compulsions around eating, shopping, and sexual behavior, morbid obesity, social anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder. In 2014 his life devolved from that of a jet-setting executive to sleeping on a mattress on his mother’s living room floor. Unemployable, 425 lbs, socially isolated, $35k in credit card debt, deeply depressed, and on 6 prescriptions and a CPAP machine, he felt destined to fade into darkness.
Slowly, through the help of loved ones, therapy, and two twelve-step programs, light re-entered his life. The pain of walking through these conditions supported a desperate willingness to seek inner growth and spiritual development which generated healing and the strength to re-launch. In 2019, after a series of breakthroughs, his intuition guided him to leave his career. He began training as a personal coach and started Refractive Coaching and Refractive Podcast to spread hope and help others to aim their light.
Today Johnny is sober over 15 years, has lost 220 lbs, recovered emotional and physical health, is debt free, and most importantly has learned to be still, connect with his highest self, and live by intuition. In mid 2020 he felt guided towards a nomadic life and spent over 2 years building connections of service and spirituality across the US and beyond. Johnny lives his best life by helping others do the same.
